It then has to connect to the radio and good luck connecting after that anyway. Then the speaker phone comes on and everyone can hear your conversation. I would expect better service and performance from a CB radio in Tijuana than this. Who knows maybe it would work better at the bottom of my pool. When I reply to a text, instead of just the message, it puts a re: in front of my message to whoever I am texting. If I sent a message to someone they only got what I wrote and nothing else.
