This can be a difficult question to answer given the variables associated with blower noise. While we don't carry an official sone, dB or LP rating on our blowers, the blowers on their own are what we consider very quiet. We use extremely high quality Japanese sealed ball bearings and the construction of our blowers ensures smooth operation. However, noise from air movement, firebox resonation and room environment are all variables to consider.
Remember that fireplace inserts are just metal boxes, so adding a blower that produces a significant amount of air flow, can give the impression that the blower is noiser than it really is. Some fireplace manufactures insulate their fireplaces better than others, which can also impact perceived noise.
The addition of a variable speed controller or rheostat is an excellent way of controlling the RPM speed and air flow of the blower, thereby allowing for an effective method of reducing noise. Customers will often find a speed setting they're comfortable with.
Others will prefer having control of the blower through a convenient wall-mounted variable speed dial. We would encourage you to watch some of our video content to get a better idea for how well the blowers are expected to perform and the noise you can expect from them. Running eNcore CLI. The monitor is a separate thread that runs monitoring and maintenance tasks.
By default, it runs every two minutes. It will report the number of events received and handled and will check the status of sub-processes. If there have been any problems, the monitor will place the client into an error state and the client will shut itself down. The eStreamer server expects requests to state their chosen start time. There are broadly three options:. First run is from 0. Two examples of outputters are given in the figure below.
Although only one outputter is required — one that sends CEF events to the Sentinel connector, it is often useful to write CEF output to local files. The second outputter shown in the figure below writes the CEF events to local files. Controls whether eNcore client will persist a connection even if the CLI process has been terminated. A positive value means the client is processing events faster than eStreamer is sending them. Negative is slower. Once up to date, this should hover around zero. True will show the last bookmark timestamp. This is useful to see how far behind the eNcore client is.
True will report the total number of events subscribed. True will report the total number of events written to output. Select the level of logging as per your requirement. It is strongly recommended that you do not use anything above INFO for production environments.
